Terry Alexander
TA served 34 years as a Division 1 baseball coach. He served 23 years as Head Coach for Jacksonville University. TA is a member of the Jacksonville University Hall of Fame. He was selected by JU as the the all time winningest coach in any sport at the university. He has been a hitting coach professionally with the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league system and major league Tai Chung Brothers in Asia.
TA is married to Miriam G. Alexander, blended family of 4 children and 9 grandchildren.

Was born at the US Navy Base in Okinawa, Japan and was raised in Altamonte Springs, Florida. He attended Lyman High School and played SS for the Florida 6A State Champion Lyman Greyhound team that went 31-3 his senior year.
Mike then went on to play MIF for the Santa Fe Community College Saints in Gainesville, Florida. After his playing days with the Saints, he attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Mike has lived in Jacksonville since 2004 and is the current Head JV Coach/Assistant Varsity Coach at Atlantic Coast High School.

Was born in Lubbock, Texas. He grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. Newman walked on at Florida Junior College in 1982 and earned a scholarship under legendary manager, Howard Roey. After compiling a 15-1 record on the mound with a 1.53 ERA in two seasons the southpaw was awarded First Team JuCo All American honors, Roey’s first.
Newman was offered a full ride to pitch for Jacksonville University his junior and senior seasons where he picked up his BFA in Graphic Design. He had two big wins vs Florida State and Number 10 ranked South Carolina his Junior season. Overall in his four year college career he compiled a 26-9 record. His first 3 years on the mound were his best with a record of 22-3, before going 4-6 his senior season.
Newman has been coaching at FCAA since 2001 and running the Indians organization since 2010.

Brian McLamb

Was born in Greensboro, NC. and graduated in 1990 from University Christian school in Jacksonville. McLamb was the starting short-stop on the 1990 State Championship team at UC. After high school he played at FSCJ as the starting shortstop for two years where he was offered multiple D1 scholarships, including FSU, University of Miami, University of Georgia – ultimately signing with Oklahoma State.
McLamb was drafted in the 1992 MLB draft by the New York Yankees where he spent 6 years in the minor leagues making it to AA for the Norwich Navigators – the NY Yankees AA affiliate. During his time with the Yankees he had the opportunity to be around & play alongside some of the Yankee greats such as Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada, Alphonso Soriano, Nick Johnson and many more. After his last season in 1999, the NY Yankees offered McLamb an opportunity to be a player/coach in the minor leagues for the 2000 season.
After much consideration, McLamb decided to hang up his spikes and return to Jacksonville. After retiring from professional baseball, he has continued to stay involved in the game by coaching and mentoring many players throughout the Jacksonville area. Although McLamb’s playing days are over, he is still considered to of had the quickest hands of any shortstop in baseball by his amateur and professional teammates alike.

Chris Laufman
Was born in San Jose, California and graduated from Del Mar High School in San Jose where he was a 3-year varsity starter and earned team MVP honors as a sophomore with a 1.67 ERA and a 6-1 record. Laufman played college baseball at Mission College in Santa Clara, where he was right handed pitcher.
He started his coaching career at Prospect High School in San Jose in 1994 and lead the Panthers to two 15+ win seasons. His next high school job was at Kellam High School in Virginia Beach, VA where he led the JV team to a conference championship and helped develop four D1 athletes, an MLB draft pick, and a future major leaguer (Ian Thomas). He has been a volunteer coach throughout his naval career and led teams from Atlantic Beach and FCAA to two Babe Ruth World Series (National Champions in 2017) and various other travel event titles. He is currently the Head JV and Associate Varsity Head Coach at Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville.

Larry Rollins

Larry Rollins
Was born in Jacksonville, Florida. He grew up and went to school in Orange Park. He then attended Georgia Tech earning bachelors degrees in industrial and civil engineering. Larry currently owns a small business which allows him the flexibility and time to coach youth sports.
Rollins has been coaching baseball at all levels for over 20 years. He managed a team with coaches Laufman and Bradshaw and took that team all the way to the Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth World Series in 2017 and 2019. Winning the US championship in Cal Ripken and losing the championship game to a team from Arizona in the Babe Ruth event.
Larry has been assisting Laufman and Bradshaw in the Indians organization for the past 4 years and working with Indians hitters aged 13-18.

Will Shuman

Will Shuman
Was born in Savannah Georgia and raised in Jacksonville where he attended both Sandalwood High School and later graduated from Terry Parker. While at Sandalwood he started every game at second base as a freshman hitting .333 and eventually making All Conference as a Junior hitting .405 and playing error free second base. Shuman transferred to Terry Parker for his senior year again making All Conference and batting .425 with 4 home runs and going 3-1 as a starting pitcher.
Shuman played at FSCJ before deciding he would trade in his cleats for boots and join the Army. After 6 years and deployments to Iraq and Korea he returned back to Jacksonville and began coaching. Shuman has been a coach at FCAA since 2012 leading teams to back to back to back state championship games and regional appearances. Shuman has a passion for developing young players with a desire to be the best and make it to the next level. In 2023 Shuman was named head JV coach and varsity assistant at Sandalwood High School. In 2024 Will was named Head Varsity Coach at Sandalwood High School.
