About our organization

The Fort Caroline Indians organization formed in 2010 by former JuCo All American Southpaw pitcher, Tony Newman. After seeing the need to keep some of the Fort Caroline talent together and help prepare them for the next level, it was vital to go to work and put something in place to accommodate them. Former 1st round Major Leaguer and former Atlantic Coast High School coach Joel Davis was brought in to manage the team and help develop the players. Joel brought with him a tremendous coaching background as well as a history of helping his players go on to play at the college level. After the first 5 successful seasons with the 18U Indians, it was time to take the next step and get these players in our system earlier. In 2016 the Indians started a 16U club which helped us develop these players at a younger age. With the success of that, we now have grown to 6 solid teams with goal of these fine young players moving on to play High School and/or College Baseball!

The 6 Indians clubs will compete in tournaments during the Summer months throughout the state of Florida, Georgia and South Carolina and will be focused on getting every deserving player the opportunity to play college baseball. Our Fall schedule has our 18U playing head-to-head versus Junior and State Colleges in Florida and Georgia as well. Fort Caroline and its surrounding area has produced a ton of great talent through the years, and with the expansion of the Junior field there is no reason for these players to go anywhere else. Phase 1 of the Blue Monster Project (field expansion) has been completed. The brick backstop was completed November 2015 and gives the facility a fun college/pro feel.  And thanks to the Peter Bragan for Better Baseball Foundation, our Showcase Field now sports a beautiful 10 inning scoreboard!

For you 11 & 12-year-old players, keep working hard every day and know that you have a great opportunity awaiting you in the next couple years and that there is no better place to be than Fort Caroline and no better opportunity to prepare for your future than with the Indians. Our mission is to instill character, loyalty, sportsmanship and a work ethic second to none in order to succeed at the next level. Our staff uses these core traits to evaluate players before investing the time and energy into them.
